Geoff Blaber, analyst at CCS Insight, told beyondbrics: “The reality is, despite the challenges in China, the opportunity is just too big to ignore. It seems odd that, despite China’s millions of mobile customers, the likes of Apple and Nokia are only now making a bigger effort. It looks late, but there are significant problems to deal with. There are several different [network] standards. It’s not a straight market to cater to,” said Blaber.
