"CCS Insight Alert: Intel announces two smartphone design wins for its Medfield CPU. Motorola has signed a multi-year, multi-product deal and is due to ship its first x86 smartphone in 2H12. Lenovo is scheduled to ship K800 smartphone for China Unicom in 2Q12. Both products will run Android. Analysis: A significant advance for Intel as it tries to establish a position in the high-growth smartphone segment, but the move poses little immediate threat to ARM's dominance."
