London, 18 January 2021: Shaun Collins, CEO of CCS Insight has again been appointed as head judge for the GSMA’s Global Mobile (GLOMO) Awards 2020. The GLOMO Awards programme is run by the GSMA, which represents more than 750 mobile network operators worldwide.
The awards recognize achievements by individuals and organizations in the mobile industry. Now in their 26th year, they are among the world’s most prestigious technology award programmes. This year, hundreds of judges, made up of analysts, journalists and academics, will assess 24 awards in seven categories. The winners will reflect the principal achievements to have shaped the industry over the past 12 months.
As head judge, Shaun has been instrumental in shaping the GLOMO Awards over the past three years, introducing new categories and seeing the programme’s profile grow. More than 1,000 entrants are expected to compete for this year’s accolades. Shaun will lead the awards ceremony when the winners are revealed at the GSMA’s MWC Barcelona conference at the end of June.
