Nicholas McQuire Joins CCS Insight to Lead New Enterprise Research Service

Research Coverage Continues to Expand

CCS Insight is pleased to announce that Nicholas McQuire has joined the company as Vice President, Enterprise. His appointment comes as CCS Insight makes fresh moves to address the opportunities presented by the rapidly increasing use of mobile technology by businesses.

Shaun Collins, CEO of CCS Insight, says “It’s clear from our research that mobility and digital decisions for businesses are becoming more complex. The sheer speed of change is daunting for enterprise IT and communications specialists. At the same time mobile and Internet giants are gearing up to develop business products and services on a scale we have not seen since we saw PCs emerge in the 1980s.”

Nick McQuire has an established background in enterprise mobility. He joins CCS Insight after serving as head of the Global Enterprise Mobility Alliance (GEMA). Prior to that Nick was a vice president at IDC, where he led the firm’s enterprise mobility strategies operation in London. With degrees from the University of St Andrews in Scotland and Mount Allison University in Canada, he continues CCS Insight’s practice of hiring only the most talented analysts in their fields.

“I’m excited to be joining CCS Insight at a time when more and more businesses need help making sense of the connected world”, says Nick McQuire. “By offering them a mix of research, analysis, forecasts and individual advice, we can guide our clients through the minefield of enterprise mobility.”

CCS Insight will release more details of its expanded enterprise mobility research service in October.
