A major research area for FDM | CCS Insight is the circular market for consumer electronics devices spanning smartphones, laptops, smartwatches and more. We work with some of the biggest consumer electronics companies in the world to help them understand market dynamics and performance. Our research is widely cited by major companies, such as Apple and Samsung, when they are discussing their efforts in this area.
FDM | CCS Insight has established one of the leading annual events in the Circular Markets domain for connected technology, with over 250 leading industry players attending the most recent edition, which was held in London.
Companies participating included Vodafone, Orange, Deutsche Telekom, Telefonica, BT, BackMarket, Alchemy, Likewize, Assurant, Recommerce, Amazon and eBay.

Employee Workplace Technology Survey
ESR is an increasingly important topic for all leading companies. FDM | CCS Insight’s annual employee workplace technology survey has evolved to include a growing focus on sustainability and more. This allows us to assess employee sentiment to the key areas in this domain. We use this data to inform our enterprise customers of the latest emerging trends and provide strategic advisory services to key companies on this topic.
Senior Leadership IT Investment Survey
Understanding sustainability, compliance with ESG goals and the broader impact of elements such as core IT infrastructure are all important topics pertinent to our clients. As par of our enterprise research, we survey senior leaders annually to get their perspectives on these topics.
This rapidly growing segment is of great interest to our clients, as they seek to improve their sustainability credentials and meet broader goals, such as Scope 3 emissions targets that span both upstream and downstream activities. These often represent 70 to 90 percent of a business’s total carbon footprint.
