Shaun Collins
CEOShaun founded CCS Insight in 1993, and he and his team have built the business into one of the world’s best analyst houses. Earlier in his career, Shaun was European account director for Motorola when it led the European market, and he has held senior roles in digital markets in the UK, Europe and the US. Shaun has been the chair of the judges for the GLOMOs since 20217 and is leading the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the event in 2025. He has also been a judge for the KPMG Mobile Start-Up of the Year awards in the UK. He can regularly be seen interviewing and moderating discussions with global technology leaders and CEOs and is often quoted in the media.

Rahim Hankin
FounderRahim is the founder of FDM and a multi-skilled IT executive with deep expertise in bespoke IT solution architecture, design, user interface, business process optimisation, and digital innovation. He has over 15 years of experience in project management and delivering practical technology solutions. Under his leadership, he has significantly enhanced FDM’s technology capability, helping the company grow into a multi-million-pound business.
Dan Timberlake
Chief Revenue OfficerDan Timberlake serves as Chief Revenue Officer at FDM | CCS Insight, where he leads the organization’s commercial growth strategy. In this role, he is responsible for scaling market leading data, expert analysis, and deep customer insights across multiple markets, while fostering high-performing and inclusive teams. Prior to joining FDM | CCS Insight, he spent 24 years at IDC, most recently as Group Vice President and Head of Sales for Europe, where he led the regional sales organization. Previously, he served as Managing Director for IDC UK & Ireland. Throughout his career, Dan has consistently delivered double- and triple-digit growth in bookings, revenue, and profitability. He has a proven track record of partnering with C-suite executives and private equity stakeholders to achieve customer-centric outcomes with measurable impact.
Ben Wood
Chief Marketing OfficerBen has over 25 years’ experience in the mobile sector. As Chief Marketing officer, he focusses on building brand awareness and supporting the growth of the business. He has held positions at Gartner, Mobile Streams, Lucent Technologies, and Vodafone, where he was involved in the launch of SMS and cellular data. In 2021 he was ranked as one of the top five tech analysts in the US and Europe by Apollo Research. Ben is the founder and co-curator of the Mobile Phone Museum, a non-profit initiative to safeguard a vast collection of phones and support education about the technology.
Geoff Blaber
Chief Operating OfficerGeoff serves as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for global operations and the integration of the business. He played a key role in establishing CCS Insight’s Americas presence and led the expansion of the team from the California office. Geoff has 20 years’ experience in the technology sector, including seven years in Silicon Valley and contributes to research in areas such as macro technology trends, mobility and semiconductors. He is a well-known member of the analyst community and regularly provides commentary to leading news organisations including Reuters, the Financial Times and The Economist.
Simon Bryant
Vice President, ResearchSimon leads CCS Insight’s research activities, having joined from Futuresource Consulting, where he led the company’s research team as Director of Research. Simon has successfully delivered many large custom and continuous research programmes to technology firms during his 20-plus years in the industry. Additionally, he has expertise in several consumer electronics and media markets. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Lancaster University.
Hayden Shaw
Commercial/Insight DirectorHayden has over 20 years of experience in the telecoms industry, having held roles across call centres, go-to-market strategy, policy, product development, propositions and pricing. Since joining FDM, he has led the Insight team for three years, specialising in sales panels and pricing data. Looking ahead, Hayden is focused on helping FDM and CCS Insight customers maximise the value of the insight and data they receive, ensuring they can make informed and impactful decisions.
Gurmit Dhesi
Chief Finance OfficerGurmit is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years’ experience of working in finance roles across a variety of industries and sectors. He joined FDM as CFO in November 2024, following investment from Inflexion PE to oversee the finance function and support the CEO on value creation and realisation. He previously worked as CFO in other private equity backed and founder owned businesses delivering value through business sale\ exit for its shareholders. He has also held senior finance roles at Capita and Axa.
Dave Nelmes
Chief Commercial OfficerWith over 15 years of experience in the Telecoms industry, Dave now leads the strategic growth plan, development of the data-exchange product roadmap, and evolving our most important commercial partnerships. During Dave’s 9 year career at FDM, he has delivered the product diversification strategy and expanded FDM’s brand into new geographies, which has defined the business during a key period of growth.
